Reserve Your Piece

Lin's been working with clay for over 12 years. In 2015, the first snowman was born opening the door to a menagerie of characters.

Each piece is hand thrown on a potter's wheel using cone 5 porcelain clay, altered, fired twice and either glazed or painted with acrylic paint and sealer. Because each piece is made by hand, slight differences in colors and shapes can occur.

If you have any questions regarding Lin's work, feel free to reach out to her via cell/text (518) 669-2752 or email

Lin's Snowman Series - 2021 . . . #7 in the series. It's time to revisit snowmen with belly cutouts for light to twinkle through. Decorated with the other pieces in Lin's other winter friends in mind, this year's snowman mirrors similar colors and patterns.

Snowmen are thrown on a potter's wheel using cone 5 porcelain. They're then altered, fired twice and finished with an acrylic medium. Each one is unique and a handmade piece of art.

Snowmen are around 7" tall and around 3" wide. These sizes can change due to the handmade nature of the process.

Snowmen will be shipping or ready for pick-up in September 2021. Should you reserve your Snowman early, you won't be charged until he is ready. Lin will be making a limited number of Snowmen so it's always best to reserve one if you're interested.

Lin's Bobble Bunny Series - 2021 . . . #1 in the series.

Lin's been making bunnies for several years but this is the first bobble bunny. These bobble figures come in two pieces. The head balances on a ball connected to the feet, giving it it's wobble bobble.

Bunnies are thrown on a potter's wheel using cone 5 porcelain. They're then altered, fired, glazed and fired again. All the carrots are hand sculpted by Lin in polymer clay, baked, painted and given a matte finish. Each figure is unique and a handmade piece of art.

Bunnies are around 7" tall and around 3" wide. These sizes can change due to the handmade nature of the process.

I understand I have not placed an order until I have received an invoice from Under the Nose and I have paid it in full. Only after that will my order be shipped. I also understand this process can take several days and I have planned for that as well as the time it takes to actually ship from the store to the final destination. I understand these products are made in a shop that also produces and packages products made with tree nuts, peanuts, milk, eggs, and wheat.
